What's New
The ASTRO Suite 3.3 is a major release of the ASTRO Suite that adds some functionalities, fixes some bugs and addresses some usability issue.
The tools of the ASTRO Suite that are based on Java have been compiled and tested using Java 5. From this version the JRE 1.5 will be the only officially supported version of the Java virtual machine.
wsToolset
- Features
- improved datanet composition with:
- support for all of the language constructs
- support for the definition of local nodes
- added support for BPEL syncronous calls (currently, only for composition at the ground level)

- if the synthesized concrete BPEL file was used as input for wsTranslator, the generated SMV file had bad operation names; changed name generation for I/O activities

wsRequirement

- datanet and datanet_diagram files are automatically created, if missing, when opening chor files that contain relevant information
- automatic arrange of composition data flow view (right click and choose the "Arrange All" menu item)
- exporting of composition data flow view as image (right click and choose the "File -> Save As Image File..." menu item)
- representation model for datareq has changed: all those nodes corresponding to language constructs that lie within a connected a graph concur to the same datareq (they are no longer split in on element per datareq)
