Setup
This section describes the operation that are necessary to prepare the execution of the ASTRO demo.
Tomcat
Start up the Tomcat Web Server included in the ActiveBPEL Engine extended with the wsMonitor application.
REMARK: The ASTRO demo expects the Tomcat Web Server to run on the port 50000. Check that the file server.xml in the 'conf' folder of the Tomcat installation contains a 'Connector' on that port number.
ActiveBPEL
Win32
Start the ActiveBPEL Designer.
Choose the workspace where you have installed the wsUseCases samples.
REMARK: It is possible to tell ActiveBPEL Designer which workspace to use directly from the command line by using the '-data <workspace>' option:
Change the perspective by browsing the ActiveWebFlow menu system as follows:
Window --> Open Perspective --> Other...--> Astro Demo
Import all ASTRO workspace samples projects into the workspace by browsing the ActiveBPEL Designer menu system as follows:
File --> Import... --> Existing Project into Workspace
Linux
Start the Eclipse executable on which you have installed the ASTRO Suite plugins.
Choose the workspace where you have installed the wsUseCases samples.
REMARK: It is possible to tell ActiveBPEL Designer which workspace to use directly from the command line by using the '-data <workspace>' option:

- From scratch or modifying an existing file
- Use the generated file for datanet composition
